Mae Organization seeks ‘narrow, deep’ bonds with clients

Tuni Schartner, the recently appointed executive director of the Mae Organization for the Homeless, has a lot on her mind.
Since Martinha Javid founded the organization almost 17 years ago, it has grown and expanded in its services. From a daily food pantry to providing clothing assistance, hot-meal sites and other services, the MAE organization’s mission is to help those in need.
One of the group’s essential programs is its donation program.
